Xavier Namy aquires Lilloise de Télésurveillance in France, renaming it ‘Scutum’, focusing on remote surveillance within the B2B and B2G markets.

1992

Franck Namy becomes the Scutum Group’s CEO, leading further expansion with new Safety and Security solutions in the B2B and B2G segments.

Custos Electronic Security was acquired in France.

1996

Scutum focuses on rapid growth through new acquisitions, adding Protext into its portfolio. It evolves from Security Remote Monitoring to Electronic Security Integration.

1998

Acquisition of CESS, 3i takes a 12% stake in Scutum to help it pursue its development.

1999

Acquisition of 15 companies

The Scutum Group rebrands its five Remote Surveillance/Alarm Receiving Centres to Scutum Digital, reflecting Scutum’s strategy to further strengthen its Cybersecurity capabilities while deploying its multi-protocol, AI-based software ERIDAN™ Predictive Security System across five Monitoring/Alarm Receiving Centres in Europe (Yeoman Monitoring Services, Harlow and Securi-Guard Monitoring Services, Plymouth, UK ; Scutum Télésurveillance, Rouen and Toulouse in France; and BSG-Wüst GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany).

Scutum acquires SecTex GmbH in Germany and EVC Security Systems in Belgium.

2022

The group continued its dynamic external growth. In 2022,
Scutum completed 7 acquisitions over Europe and USA, enhancing its international presence.

In the USA, the group has significantly increased its market share in remote monitoring services with the acquisition of Alarmtech and Digicom, while expanding its reach to the Chicago region with the acquisition of Forest Inc.

In France, Ivoxe joined the group, while Electro Guard joined Scutum Group UK and Sensor 24 Scutum Germany.

 

2023

REVENUES: €327 Mln

The group significantly accelerated its external growth in 2023, with the completion of 12 acquisitions in Europe and the USA. The integration of new entities in France, USA, Germany and the UK enabled the group to strengthen its geographic reach. Two new Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs) in France (Scutum Premium Services) and in the US (AAMI) connected customer sites to the Scutum Smart Security Platform (SSP). 2023 also saw the launch of Scutum in Spain, Portugal and Poland, as new entities joined the group.
